Love him or not, Hugh Hefner had a love for beautiful blondes.

She has recently dyed he hair brown – but we all know that she’ll be back to blonde eventually.

Crystal Hefner
Playmate of the Month December 2009.  Married Hugh (60 years her senior) December 2012.

Brande Roderick
Playmate of the Month April 2000.  Playmate of the year 2001.  Stared as Leigh Dyer in Baywatch.

Kennedy Summers
Playmate of the year 2014.  She also has a Bachelors in anthropology and a Masters in health.

Holly Madison
Girls Next Door star 2003-2009.  She was never officially a Playmate but did pose is several issues.

Marilyn Monroe
Graced the cover and was the centerfold of the first issue of Playboy before “playmate” was even a thing.  Hefner always attributed the success of Playboy to Monroe’s inclusion in its inaugural issue.

Pamela Anderson
First cover in 1989. Playmate of the Month February 1990. Appeared on more covers than any other model.  After playing “tool time girl” in Home Improvement she stared as CJ Parker in Baywatch from 1992 to 1997.  Pamela is well known for her many efforts on behalf of animal rights and is an honorary PETA director.

Kendra Wilkinson – Baskett
Never an official “Playmate” Kendra was asked to move into the Playboy Mansion and star in The Girls Next Door by Hugh Hefner after they met at his 78th birthday party in 2004.  Kendra moved out of the mansion in 2009 to marry her then boyfriend, Hank Baskettt.

Anna Nicole Smith
1993 Playmate of the year. Smith was the focus of  press coverage surrounding her marriage to octogenarian, J. Howard Marshall and the legal battle over his estate after he died.  Then again after the death of her son, Daniel, and the paternity and custody battle over her newborn daughter, Dannielynn. Unfortunately, Anna Nicole died at age 39 in 2007 as a result of an overdose of prescription drugs.
